“The Deanery of Sponsored Research & Industrial Consultancy (SRIC) is integral to advancing the research and development (R&D) mission of IIT Mandi. It provides essential administrative and managerial support for sponsored research, industrial consultancy, and related R&D initiatives. SRIC actively engages with national and international funding agencies to facilitate research collaborations and manages all externally funded projects. It also supports newly appointed faculty through seed grants, promoting early-stage research activities. Since its establishment, SRIC has played a critical role in strengthening IIT Mandi’s R&D capabilities across key domains such as Energy, Healthcare, Environment, Manufacturing, Nanotechnology, Quantum Computing, AI, Robotics, Bioengineering, Management, Basic Sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences.”

Office of Sponsored Research & Industrial Consultancy (SRIC) (the office) provides administrative and managerial support for the operation of sponsored research, industrial consultancy, and other R&D-related activities of the Institute. It facilitates interaction with external agencies, both national and international. It also promotes and manages Institute-Industry interaction and all externally funded research and development projects.
